Reading, Dyslexia & Dyscalculia Specialist

About Me

I am a Mississauga based reading, dyslexia and dyscalculia specialist working with students who need to improve their reading and math skills.

I have been a Montessori teacher with 25 years experience using the phonics method. This led me to my journey to train as a dyslexia specialist using the Orton Gillingham approach.

Reading and math are an essential skill that affects all other areas of learning thus making it an important building base for future success in academic endeavors. I am here to help your child in this journey. In addition to reading skills, I work on the spelling patterns, basic grammar, and writing.

For math, I work on teaching the foundation four operations using concrete material and transferring this to an abstract form. I extrapolate on their basic math and teach all the other concepts of math as well.

I offer online, in-person classes or a hybrid of both, for my students.

The online platform has made it possible for me to reach a wider audience, especially globally in different time zones.
